The M5P does use FCC bandwidth approved by the FCC in the U.S.. In other words, once you register your drone in the U.S. as you would any other drone, you are good to go. It will also broadcast remote I.D. automatically with regular or plus batteries, due to both being over 249g per FAA.

I purchased the Mini 5 Pro Fly-More-Combo with standard batteries (not the Plus version) from NewEgg third party for use in the U.S. (Alaska). After firmware update, the drone worked great out-of-the-box in FCC mode. Did not arrive in CE mode.

DJI Care Refresh warranty is NOT available in the U.S. and no other warranty is available through NewEgg or the seller. I believe that you can get insurance through State Farm that is a basic personal property insurance, but I am not sure if "Fly Away" is included or available.

I don't know about returns, but I believe that there is a 30-day return policy with the buyer's responsibility for shipping costs.

I did not have to pay any additional import fees or U.S. custom costs for delivery to Alaska.

A standard USB-C to USB-C cable is included, but no power adapter provided. A 65W or higher USB-C power adapter is recommended.

I received the official standard DJI batteries, and I was able to update the firmware without problems.

The Mini 5 Pro has built in remote I.D. within the system and will automatically broadcast your Remote I.D..  This is usually through the batteries and is automatic.  This is due to this drone weighing over 249g and so it must be registered.
