AJMRTC adapter is a dedicated storage upgrade converter built for MacBook Air Mid 2013 to 2015 models (A1465 / A1466). It bridges the MacBooks unique proprietary SSD slot to standard M.2 M Key PCIe X4 SSD, allowing you to replace the original small-capacity Apple SSD with widely available, affordable M.2 2280 NVMe or AHCI SSDs.

Important prerequisite: This adapter only works with macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later. Older macOS versions cannot identify the NVMe SSD correctly. It only supports PCIe M.2 Key M SSD; SATA M.2 SSD, mSATA and other form factors are incompatible.
