AJMRTC storage expansion kit includes an M.2 M-key to SFF-8643 adapter board and matching SFF-8643 to SFF-8639 U.2 cable. It lets you use a regular M.2 NVMe SSD on a U.2 SFF-8639 drive bay, ideal for server, workstation and NAS storage upgrade. It is pure passive signal pass-through without extra chips or drivers, supporting hot-plug NVMe drives. Only PCIe M-key NVMe SSD is supported; SATA M.2 SSD is incompatible. SSD is sold separately. Confirm your host port pinout before installation.
