These double sided tape strips are necessary for replacing some laptop LCD screens that are mounted using adhesive. Whether you're a laptop repair shop or an at-home DIY'er- you will find these strips easy to use when replacing laptop screens up to 15.6".
Some laptop LCD screens use these adhesive strips to stick the panel to the inside of the screen assembly, or attach mounting rails to the back of the panel. The LCD repair tape provides a reliable bond between the LCD panel and mounting hardware inside the LCD screen assembly. To remove these strips- simply pull the tab and stretch to release the bond.
