CRITICAL Verify Your Connector Before Ordering

This panel uses a 30-pin eDP connector located on the bottom right of the screen (when viewed from the back), with a 0.5 mm connector pitch.
This is not compatible with:

40-pin LVDS connectors (used on HD TN panels like B140XTN 02.3 )

40-pin eDP connectors

30-pin LVDS connectors

Dell is known for fitting different screen types to the same laptop model. The Latitude 7480/7490 series may ship with either FHD IPS (30-pin eDP) or HD TN (40-pin LVDS) panels verify your original screen's resolution and connector type before ordering.

Installation Note:

Disconnect the battery and all power sources.

Remove the bezel (frame) around the screen.

Unscrew the mounting screws on the sides of the screen.

Gently disconnect the 30-pin eDP cable from the back of the screen (connector is on the bottom right).

Attach the cable to the new screen.

Secure the screen with the screws and replace the bezel.

Caution: The display assembly is delicate. We strongly recommend testing the new screen before fully securing it connect the screen, power on the laptop, and verify it displays correctly. Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable with DIY repairs. Tools are not included.
