Your new foam server inserts are adjustable to be compatible with most 1U & 2U servers. Below you will find some tips and guidelines on how to make your foam packaging work best for you!
Upon packing your server ensure that on both foam pieces the rail slots are on top. If you are sending rails with your server, this feature allows you to easily slide them into the foam to ensure protection during transit.

When packing a 1U server, no modification is needed, just slide each end of the server into a foam piece for a firm fit.

When packing a 2U server, you will first need to remove the long plank piece of foam along the bottom of the server hole as shown in the below images.

Once that piece is removed, you will also need to take out the three foam blocks that are against the back of the foam inside the server hole. Finally, you are ready to pack your 2U server, place each foam piece on the ends of your server.
