Question 1

Should I get the Verbatim Premium 128GB or 256GB card?

Accepted Answer

Choose the VER70364 256GB if you need more space for games, photos, or video; both capacities are U1/V10 and positioned for Full HD recording. The 128GB Premium is a practical lower-capacity option when it holds enough for your files or costs less; Verbatim lists up to 90MB/s read for that version versus up to 100MB/s for the 256GB model.

Question 2

Verbatim Premium 256GB or Verbatim Pro U3 256GB for 4K video?

Accepted Answer

Choose the VER70364 Premium for 256GB of storage and Full HD recording; its U1/V10 rating is intended for HD-to-Full HD video. Choose the 256GB Verbatim Pro U3 when you need a V30/U3 card for 4K recording or higher sustained write performance: Verbatim specifies up to 90MB/s write for that Pro card, while it does not publish a write-speed figure for the VER70364. Check your camera’s required card rating.

Question 3

Is the Verbatim VER70364 256GB better than a SanDisk Ultra 256GB?

Accepted Answer

Both are U1-class microSD cards for everyday storage and Full HD use. The VER70364 is specified for up to 100MB/s read; SanDisk lists up to 150MB/s for its 256GB Ultra microSD under its stated test conditions and with a compatible reader. Choose the Verbatim if its price, included SD adapter, or stated water-, shock-, and temperature-resistance suits your needs; choose SanDisk if its higher advertised read speed matters and your reader can take advantage of it. Actual speeds depend on the device and conditions.

Question 4

Is this card suitable for recording video?

Accepted Answer

The listing identifies it as a Class 10 card with up to 100 MB/s read speed. That read-speed figure describes data retrieval, not recording speed; the listing does not specify sustained write speed. Check your camera’s required speed class, especially for high-resolution or continuous recording.

Question 5

How fast is the card for transferring files?

Accepted Answer

Its listed maximum read speed is up to 100 MB/s. Actual transfer speed can vary with the host device, card reader, and files; the listing does not provide a guaranteed write speed.

Question 6

Will this 256GB card work in my phone, camera, or other device?

Accepted Answer

It will work only in a device with a microSDXC slot that supports 256GB cards. Check the device manual or manufacturer’s specifications before buying; a slot that supports only microSD or microSDHC may not support it.

Question 7

Is a Verbatim 256GB microSD card reliable?

Accepted Answer

The Reddit discussion is inconclusive: one commenter expressed confidence in genuine Verbatim cards, while another user described recurring problems with a Verbatim 256GB card. These are individual experiences, not reliability testing of the VER70364 specifically.

Question 8

Is it worth buying if the price is good?

Accepted Answer

A favorable price was part of a Reddit user’s reason for considering a Verbatim 256GB microSD card. The available product information lists 256GB capacity and Class 10, but does not provide enough performance or reliability evidence to determine whether this specific listing is a better value than alternatives.

Question 9

Is this a good choice for adding storage to a Nintendo Switch?

Accepted Answer

It may suit a Switch that supports microSDXC, but the discussions found do not verify this exact model. One user reported recurring data errors with a Verbatim 256GB card in a Switch, so check the seller and test the card before relying on it.

Question 10

What type of memory card is the VERBATIM VER70364?

Accepted Answer

The VERBATIM VER70364 is a microSDXC memory card.
