The WS232UP USB-HART Modem provides a complete and flexible PC communication link to HART networks, power kit, and loop resistor for commissioning, servicing, calibrating, or acquiring data from any HART instrument or transmitter.
WS232UP was developed based on the BELL202 modem standard, and this external interface is a rugged and compact and ideal choice for field service, commissioning, engineering, training, tabletop shows, lunch and learns, and demo cases.
Power Supply: The system is powered by a USB port. It does not require external power.
Supply Current: 30mA@+5V for modem only; 260mA@+5V with device power and modem

HART connection: 2-wire and polarity insensitive test clips
Output level: 0.5 +- 0.1V pp sinusoid wave @1200/2200Hz, 24VDC@70mA to device
