NetMetal ax has a modern dual-core ARM processor, a Gigabit Ethernet PoE-in port and a 2.5 Gigabit SFP slot for fiber-optic connectivity, as well as a USB port and a free miniPCIe slot that allows for further personalization. For example, you can add an LTE modem for mobile Internet backup - a NanoSIM slot has been added.

Additionally, there are other additional options such as adding a gateway to a LoRa IoT setup such as the R11e-LR8. The device comes with a RouterOS Level 4 license.
