It can boost then provides up to 25.5 watts at 48 VDC power to maximum 4 PoE ports on each module. It allows power to be supplied to connected devices, such as PoE-based Gigabit cameras in machine vision inspection systems, without the need to use separate PoE injectors for those applications.
