The MMDVM Duplex Hotspot is an advanced digital voice modem designed to support multiple communication protocols, including DMR, D-Star, YSF, P25, NXDN, and POCSAG. It allows different digital two-way radios to communicate seamlessly, making it a powerful tool for amateur radio enthusiasts.
Pre-Configured for Easy Setup
To ensure a plug-and-play experience, we have pre-installed Pi-Star firmware on the included
TF card with optimized settings:
· Pre-configured to Simplex Mode
· Pre-selected OLED Type 3 Display
· Default STM32 GPIO Modem Type
· Pre-set WiFi SSID (m100) and Password (abc12345)
· Pre-set TX Frequency: 433.550 MHz
· No need for manual TX/RX offset configuration
For first-time use, we recommend connecting the hotspot directly to your router via Ethernet cable for initial setup. Once connected, simply
configure your:
1. Callsign
2. DMR ID
3. Hotspot Security
4. Walkie-Talkie Frequency (to match the hotspot frequency)
