This 1TB SSD offers the most storage capacity available in the fourth generation of proprietary Apple solid state drives.
These drives were originally shipped in iMac and MacBook Pro computers with Early 2015-Late 2015 release dates.
The Gen. 4 SSDs were also included in the Mac Pro A1481 (Late 2013) and Mac mini A1347 (Late 2014) computers with later manufacture dates.
This drive also is 100% compatible with earlier Gen. 3 Apple SSDs and can provide nearly twice the read/write speeds when installed in iMac and MacBook Pro computers with Late 2013-Late 2014 release dates.
