The Hardwire Kit provided is specifically designed for use with NikoMaku AS5 Pro mirror dash cams. Using this hardwire kit with a mirror dash cam from another brand may result in compatibility issues. Prior to making a purchase, we kindly advise verifying the brand and model of your mirror dash cam. ^^ [Installation Instructions] The YELLOW wire should be connected to a constant fuse, ensuring a continuous power supply to the dash cam even when the vehicle is turned off. The RED wire (ACC) should be connected to the Fuse Box ACC, enabling the dash cam to automatically power on and off in sync with the vehicle's ignition status.

Lastly, the BLACK wire should be connected to a metal bolt or screw for grounding purposes. ^^ [Parking Mode Activation] Access the parking mode function in the AS5 Pro settings menu to enable or disable this feature. When vibrations indicative of theft or vehicle collisions are detected, the mirror dash cam will activate automatically, capturing a 30-second video. The recorded footage is ensured and locked, preventing overwriting. ^^ [Time Lapse Recording] The Time Lapse Recording function is designed to conserve storage space on the SD card by capturing still images at specified intervals instead of continuously recording video.

These still images are then compiled into a time-lapse video, enabling users to review an extended timeframe in a condensed duration. The AS5 Pro settings offer interval options of 0.5 s, 1s, and 5s for this feature. ^^ [Note]When both the parking mode and time-lapse function are activated, the system will prioritize the time-lapse function. Constant parking monitoring can deplete your car's battery and SD card life, so it's advisable to activate it only when necessary. This product incorporates a low voltage protection function. If the car voltage drops below 11.6V, the power supply will automatically shut down.
