- Generate up to 4 audible tones of different frequencies at one time. Since inductive piezo buzzers are used for tone generation the volume is constant.
- Also adds 4 more I/O or A/D channels to your project through I2C. On board solder-jumpers allow selection of 16 different addresses, and optional 2200 ohm bus pull-up resistors

- Use up to 16 boards on the same I2C Bus to increase the number of simultaneous audio outputs
- Open source hardware and software
- Separate power inputs for buzzers and logic. 3.3V or 5V operation. 5V operation is possible while communicating on a 3.3V I2C bus, allowing mixed voltage circuits or analog inputs.

The Serial Wombat SW8B Buzz board combines the frequency output feature of a Serial Wombat 8B chip with 4 transistor driven coil based buzzers to create a board capable of generating 4 simultaneous tones, one per buzzer. This board is a convenient way to add audio feedback to a project, or to generate simple melody output. An available example shows how to play MIDI files using a micropython board and this Serial Wombat board. The remaining 4 unused I/O pins (WP0 to WP3) can be used as general purpose I2C I/O expansion pins with identical functionality to Serial Wombat PCB0029.
