Rosslare MD-N32 RS-232 to TCP/IP Gateway for Access Control Networks

The Rosslare MD-N32 is an RS-232 to TCP/IP gateway designed to connect serial access control devices to a local network or wide area network. Rosslare describes it as a high-performance gateway for sending and receiving information between PC-managed access control products over LAN or WAN. This compact gateway converts RS-232 serial communication into TCP/IP format for network transmission, then converts network communication back into serial format at the device side. It is intended for applications that need serial-device connectivity without long serial cable runs. For access control integration, the MD-N32 is compatible with AxTraxNG software and supports Rosslare AC-115, AC-215, AC-225, and AC-425 panels.

Configuration can be handled through the AS-IP01 Configuration Tool or directly from AxTraxNG when connected to supported Rosslare controllers. Network and serial specifications include 10/100 Base-T Ethernet with RJ-45 LAN connection, RS-232 via D9 male connector, DHCP support, and serial transmission speeds from 1200 bps to 230.4 Kbps.
