Today's modern vehicle audio systems are becoming increasingly more sophisticated and complex. PAC (R) Audio engineered this AmpPRO4 Interface to improve your vehicle's audio performance while keeping the original radio's fit and finish. The AP4-TY12 simplifies the installation of upgraded amplifiers in select Toyota (R) and Lexus (R) vehicles with JBL (R) amplified systems or factory center channel, but without Mark Levinson system or without navigation. This amplifier integration interface also allows you to retain important factory features. Toyota (R) vehicles must be equipped with a JBL (R) system. Between 2012-2015, Toyota (R) used 2 different styles of connectors.

In order for the AP4-TY12 to be compatible, the radio must have the 10-/6-pin BHA1761 style connector. Vehicles equipped with the 20-pin BHA8113 style connector are not compatible. The only way to know what connector the radio has is to physically remove it from the dash and look at it. Lexus (R) vehicles must be equipped with a center channel and a subwoofer.
And vehicles with telematics (ie: SOS, Enform, etc. ) will require some additional wiring. See manual for details
