HUM PREVENTION: This cable tackles two main causes of subwoofer hum. The efficient shielding helps block induced noise, while the low shield resistance lessens ground potential differences, decreasing the chance of ground loop hum. LOW CAPACITANCE: A generous spacing between the shield and center conductor, paired with a highly foamed dielectric, keeps a low capacitance of about 12 pF per foot. HIGH FLEXIBILITY: Despite its sturdy build, the LC-2 is notably flexible because of its soft PVC jacket and foam dielectric. QUALITY PLUGS: It comes with Taversoe RCA plugs featuring gold-plated contact surfaces. A circular leaf spring design provides a tight, secure connection to the RCA jack without risking damage from being overly tight.
