Conventional star-quad design: two connectors on each end, connected to a pair of opposite-side conductors. This cable can also be obtained in bi-wired arrangements. The terminations employ a distinctive ultrasonic welding method that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intermediate metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. The star-quad cable design decreases the electromagnetic field surrounding the cable, reducing interaction with other system cabling. Assembled in Seattle, Washington, using proprietary connectors.
