For Chevrolet or GMC owners, a 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter may be needed, as the taillights and running lights may not provide a constant 12-volt supply required for proper system operation. Assistance is available for sourcing a suitable power adapter to resolve this. Note: Some models of GMC, Chevrolet, and Ford use PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) power signals in specific circuits. For example, GMC and Chevrolet models from 2010 onward, and some Ford models from 2015 onward (such as the F-150, F-250, and F-350) may have circuits with PWM signals. This can cause the backup camera to flicker or malfunction due to the lack of PWM input. This issue can be resolved by using a Furrion 7-way power adapter or a PWM filter.
