Conventional star-quad design: two connectors on each end, connected to a pair of opposite-side conductors. This cable can also be obtained in bi-wired versions. The terminations employ a special ultrasonic welding method that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intervening metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. Star quad cable design minimizes the EM field surrounding the cable for less interaction with other system cabling. Assembled in Seattle, Washington using proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder. The spade lugs have a 9.2mm opening, are constructed from gold-plated sheet copper, and are compatible with almost all binding posts
