This is a passive RS232 to RS485 serial adapter converter powered entirely by RS232 serial signal, eliminating the need for extra power adapters. It connects via standard DB9 9pin COM port and converts RS232 singleended signal into antiinterference RS485 differential signal.
With simple A/B terminal block output, users can complete field wiring quickly. Compact size saves space for cabinet and desktop deployment. Please note this passive version is for shortrange transmission scenarios, performance will be limited when cable distance is too long.
It is widely used for equipment debugging, data reading of PLC, digital meters and other industrial serial devices. Pure hardware passive conversion, no driver software required. Confirm actual transmission distance requirement before ordering, not suitable for ultralongdistance industrial networking. Compatible with standard RS232 host equipment.
