AJMRTC OpenLog data logger is an open source serial recording module designed to capture incoming serial data and store it onto a Micro SD card. Once powered, it writes received characters directly to a text file, making it easy to review flight logs, sensor readings or system debugging output on a computer.
This blackbox recorder is widely used in FPV drones and multirotor builds, compatible with Naze32, F3 flight controllers as well as ATmega328 and Arduino-based projects. It supports FAT16 and FAT32 Micro SD cards up to 32GB. No proprietary software is needed to read the recorded files, just remove the card and plug it into a card reader.
The module only needs serial TX, RX, power and ground connections, which keeps wiring simple. It is a cost-effective solution for flight data logging, environmental data recording, embedded system debugging and other DIY logging applications.
