NGFF E Key to TF Card Adapter, SDIO Protocol MicroSD Card Reader Converter Board (Not for PCIe/NVMe) with Overcurrent Protection & Trace-Equalized Design Compatible with Wyse 3040 Thin Client

    • Dedicated Compatible with Wyse 3040 Thin Client Converts the internal NGFF E Key (SDIO) slot to a TF/microSD card reader. Not for generic PCIe/Mini PCIe slots.; SDIO Protocol Only Works with compatible TF cards like Hiksemi 64GB U3 and KIOXIA EXCERIA G2 128GB. Does not support PCIebased TF cards (e.g., highspeed UHSII cards).; Advanced Protection & Signal Integrity Builtin microsecondresponse shortcircuit protection chip prevents damage to TF cards. Ultraprecise tracelength matching with serpentine layout ensures stable data transmission.; No HotPlug Must Power Off SDIO does not support hotplugging. Always fully power down your card before installation to avoid hardware damage.; Typical Speed 3080 MB/s Limited by the thin clients 4bit SDIO bus. Ideal for lightweight storage expansion, or log collection. Not intended for highspeed PCIe storage.

NGFF E Key to TF Card Adapter, SDIO Protocol MicroSD Card Reader Converter Board (Not for PCIe/NVMe) with Overcurrent Protection & Trace-Equalized Design Compatible with Wyse 3040 Thin Client Product Description This adapter board is specifically designed Compatible with the Wyse 3040 Thin Client to convert its NGFF E Key slot (often misidentified as Mini PCIe) into a TF (microSD) card slot.
Important Compatibility Note: The W 3040s E Key slot operates strictly in SDIO mode (4bit), not full PCIe. Therefore, this adapter only works with TF cards that support SDIO protocol. It does NOT support highspeed TF cards using PCIe/NVMe interfaces (e. g., some UHSII or highend cards).
    Performance: Expected
read/write speed: 3080 MB/s (limited by the hosts 4bit SDIO bus).
Design Features: Dedicated power protection chip with microsecondlevel shortcircuit protection safeguards both the adapter and the TF card (including damaged or unsupported cards). Full trace length matching with serpentine routing ensures signal integrity on every data line. NGFF E Key edge connector (goldplated, nonhotplug compatible).
Installation Warning: The SDIO protocol does not support hotplug. The W 3040 uses DC power. Always completely power off and disconnect the thin client before installing the adapter and TF card. Assemble the card onto the adapter first, then install the board into the slot, and finally reconnect power.
Note: This board also supports 4bit EMMC devices (separate adapter available), but performance is similar due to the 4bit bus limitation. Intended for experimentation rather than production use.
