KTC 27 Inch 1440p 200Hz Curved Gaming Monitor, WQHD 200Hz / HD 400Hz Dual Mode 1500R PC Monitor, Adaptive-Sync, 5000:1 Contrast, HDR, HDMI/DisplayPort, VESA Compatible, H27S5

The KTC H27S5 is a 27-inch curved gaming monitor with switchable WQHD 200Hz and HD 400Hz modes, suited to PC gamers who want a choice between detailed 1440p visuals and very high refresh rates for competitive play.

Recommended For

• PC gamers who alternate between visually detailed 1440p games and competitive titles, and are willing to switch to the monitor’s 720p mode when prioritizing its listed 400Hz refresh rate.
• Competitive PC players whose games and systems can make use of very high frame rates, and who accept 720p resolution for the H27S5’s 400Hz mode.
• Players of single-player games and video content who prefer a curved screen and want the higher stated contrast of an HVA panel for more distinct light and dark areas.
• Desk-based users connecting multiple devices, such as a gaming PC and console, who can use the monitor’s multiple video inputs and do not need a portable display.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• Playing visually detailed PC games: use the 2560×1440 mode to keep the game sharp while benefiting from a high refresh rate for smoother motion.
• Playing fast-paced competitive games: switch to the 1280×720, 400Hz mode when prioritizing rapid motion over image detail; the lower resolution is a visible trade-off.
• Gaming when frame rates vary: enable Adaptive-Sync to help reduce visible tearing and stutter as the game’s frame rate changes.
• Switching between everyday gaming and competitive sessions: use the higher-resolution mode for general play, then change to 720p at 400Hz for games where motion speed matters more than detail.
• Watching movies or videos from a desk: the curved screen and high stated contrast can make viewing feel more enveloping, though the monitor remains a 27-inch, 16:9 display rather than a large TV.
