Why Choose addressable LED strip?
We creatively embedded smart ICs into light strip. You can control each group individually, so as to realize unlimited color, brightness and changing speed combination on one strip light simultaneously and make colors flow like a rainbow, more beautiful and vivid than dull RGB solid-color lights.
Is it individually Addressable LED Strip?
The 5M LED strip has 3600pcs LEDs and 100pcs WS2811 ICs. They are organized in groups of 36 LEDs with 1 IC. 1 IC controls 36 LEDs. Each group/5cm segment (not each LED) can be controlled individually.
Does this LED strip include a power supply? To let it work, what power supply you recommend?
No, it comes without power supply. To let it work, we recommend ALITOVE 12V 5A power supply and WS2811 controller. If the power supply is too small, the led strip will blink at random.
Can I use it outdoor? Is it waterproof?
No, it is not waterproof. We don't recommend you to use it outdoor. If you must, please buy waterpoof version LED strip.
Can I cut it into several short Led strips? The short strips can still work?
Yes, you can cut it along the cutting line on the FPCB board. The short strips can still work. But you need to use weld-free connectors or solder electric wires on the soldering point.
