what drive configuration SATA or IDE ?

Has 4 SATA, NO IDE, and 1 Floppy!   Also, Microsoft says it is not compatible for the Widows 10 upgrade. ( they will let people know when they and HP can come to terms).

I would have purchased one, but the descriptions conflict. Newegg, will you please update to show this is has  a 32bit OS, not 64bit? Also, I understand there is no efficient use of a full 4Gb of memory on a 32 bit Windows machine.

True.   It comes with 32-bit  Windows 7 Professional installed but no DVD.  And it sees only 3 GB RAM, not 4.  I'm using vSuite RAMdisk to set the extra  GB as a RAM disk.

I'm having problems trying to use a PS/2 mouse on an Omni KVM switch.  It works sometimes but keeps going out.  USB mouse works fine though.  For $59.99 after rebate, it's still a good deal!

Does this computer come with a refurbished computer COA or is it preactivated? Also what VIDEO card does this come with?

1st web search hit, hp's site: "Radon X300 (integrated)" a section of the "Radeon Express 1150" motherboard "Northbridge" chip, soldered under the aluminum fins.

16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS
Graphics card:
DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver
Display:

So Yes,  Windows 10 is free upgrade till July 2016. Just do all the updates once you get it, then once you do, you can upgrade to windows 10. Now your computer's MB hash is in Microsoft Database. You can do a Clean Install ... Trust me, I have done it many time...

The white strip next to the  Windows Activation PIN sticker on the one delivered to me: 
DC5750S-A64-07...
From hp support page -A64- means a single-core CPU was factory installed "3200+", was glad to see in F2 key BIOS screen the "Athlon x2 4400+" with two 2,300 MHz clockspeed cores, each with 512K of L2 cache. Next to the power button mine has a logo sticker: "Athlon x2"
Ran BIOS updater to install version 2.36A then swapped that CPU marked "ADO4400IAA5 for ADV6000IAA5 the 3100MHz core clockspeed from the same "Brisbane" family. It's Retail name "Athlon x2 6000+" because it so cheap used on-line.
