i didn't get the game they just ship the videocard how can i ask them to ship the game aswell?

The game comes in the form of a digital code. Search the email you registered with Newegg for something like "Metal Gear Solid," open the email, then scan for the code included in the order. This code will be used at Nvidia's site (geforce redeem, just Google it).

Keep in mind that the process of downloading and installing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain requires that you have Steam installed.

Does the download code get emailed to me or does it come on a slip of paper with the Graphics card I bought?

The code is emailed to you shortly after the order has been placed and processed, the code was the first part of the shipment received, because i received it digitally.

If I remember correctly, they give you a choice as to what platform you get it through. I have mine through Steam.

The game code is automatically sent to your email. If you did not receive it at most 4 days after your order then you should contact Newegg support. I got mine 3 days after I ordered my card.

How do I get the code?? I've ordered my GPU and does it come in that delivery or is there something online to get it?

Go to your Newegg order history and click on Digital Library.  In the digital library you will see a link to email the code to yourself.  Upon receiving the email, open the redeem GeForce com page and follow the directions, enter the information requested and logging into your steam account when asked to do so.  The game will be loaded into your Steam library.  If you don't have a Steam account, get one.  But you cant play the game until September 1, 2015 when it releases.

how do i get the download code?

Two emails. One for the initial order. First invoice email will list the item as free. You will receive another invoice for the charge for the item. Its silly but it does balance out as free and some accounting bug per newegg support. (should be an easy accounting fix for the dev folks).

The final shipping invoice will have the actual key code to redeem at a couple different places for digital download. I use Steam and the code worked without any hiccups. Game isn't released yet so all you will see is a placeholder for when it does become available.

IMHO, be patience.

How do you redeem the digital asset key?  Can you use it through Steam?

You redeem the key through NVIDIA's website which will link up with your Steam account and add the game to your library automatically.

You get a link to the NVIDIA site where you redeem your copy. You will need a STEAM account in order to complete the process and you will need to download your copy to your STEAM library. It is about a 22GB download. Unfortunately, there isn't a physical copy you can get as far as I know through this promotion.

Yes, this is a steam code for the full game which will release on 9/1/15. You'll have to get the steam code from Nvidia's code redemption page.
