As long as the game was in your cart when you checked out, they will send you an email with the instructions, after the payment has been received, on how to redeem the code.

I redeemed the code that was provided, but it isn't showing up on my profile... is it because the game hasn't released yet? I have a confirmation code, just no evidence it was added to my account

It comes out October 11, you have to wait. You should get an email October 10th or 11th with download instructions.  Also, if your using a .edu email it can filter out important emails from Newegg, I had to change my email to gmail to get all the stuff I was missing out, my university just has a strong filter I guess.

Got the game with my graphics card, redeemed the code, now where do I find the game to go and play it? Never used Windows's program for gaming. Can't find it anywhere in the store or games app. (I'm on 8.1 by the way)

You need to go to the NVIDIA redemption portal to claim the free game. A link to the portal should have been emailed to you. You will also need to have an account setup with the Microsoft store. Once redeemed on the portal you will see the game in your Microsoft store account. Make sure you log into the store with the same account as you entered at redemption. Download the game from the store app and voila it is on your PC. You can also get the game for your XBOX, if you have one.

It took about 2-3 days for me then it came in a emaIL to me. Then you go to the nvidia portal and redeem it also if you have issues cintact nvidia support they are the only ones to help you in the whole process good luck hope you get your code soon gears 4 is awesome

I got the code, went through Nvida's site, then to the windows store but couldn't download. Now I can't even get back to a place to download it 
on the windows store without paying for it again - how can I get help with this?

I figured it out.  To be honest I stumbled on it.  I had to go to the Windows Store - click on the icon where my user picture should be first.  Then click "redeem a code" and put the code in nvidia sent me.  The info for Gears of War were there.   I'm now downloading the game.  Previously I went the route to buy the game and then insert the coupon code there  - that did't work.  Thanks to all that responded to my query.

Looking at my credit card statement, I was charged 60 dollars for this. Am I refunded that at some point or what?

From the looks of my invoice they charged me the $60 separately on one order number but then took $60 off my hardware order under the other order number. Actual credit card charges seem to enforce this view. So while you do see the $60 charge the main order should have been lowered by the same amount to break even. Probably for billing purposes when the interact with M$ would be my guess.

Am I eligible to get gears of war 4 If I purchased my graphics card at an earlier date?

Bought my GTX 1070 on the 19th, and the promotion started on the 20th. I used the online chat, and talked to a customer service rep by phone. They apologized and said that there was no leeway on this promotion. Fortunately... I haven't received the card yet (tracking says it's out for delivery), so I'm just going to refuse the package and order the same card with the new promotion. I did double check with the customer service rep and they verified the there is no restocking fee when packages are refused. I'm out the $4.99 for shipping, but for a $60 game that I was going to buy anyway, it's a fair trade-off.
