So I just purchased the 1050 TI for my wife's computer and this came up initially as the free gift, but now I'm being charged $39.99 for it? I'm confused how a free gift suddenly now requires I pay for it? Not a gift more like an optional add-on?

The addition of the game price is the retail value which is then credited by the same amount due to the fact that the game offer is provided by NVidia not NewEgg. The process is for tracking and records between NewEgg and NVidia, merely basic accounting honestly. Kind of confused me at the start too, but at checkout (order confirmation toward the end of the transaction) there was a NewEgg gift of $39.99 that covered the price of the game offer. Hope this effectively elaborates Scott H.'s response above for the more inquisitive.

Where do you get the code from? How do you choose the game?  I bought a card, got the promotion but have no idea where the code or even how to redeem the code.

Newegg will email the code separately to you. In the email there will be instructions. The email also contains the URL to go to to enter the code, but here it is anyway: redeem dot geforce dot com (sorry it won't let me enter the URL directly)

Then you just enter the code and it lets you pick the game.

Have the ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 DUAL-GTX1060-O6G 6GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI today but did not get a code to select 1 out of the 3 games listed with the purchase as a free gift? Make, Redout, and Raw Data are the games to pick out of.

I purchased GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 Xtreme Gaming 6GB GV-N1060XTREME-6GD Video Card. Package came in the mail great card but no code for the game nothing no mention whatsoever. I have been trying to reach Newegg for two days now without success. If anyone has an answer please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Can all these games play with a GeForce GTX 1050, i7 6700K, MSI Z170A M3?

That GTX 1050 is a nice little card. I got it as a gift for my brother and he plays BF1 on ultra with no issues at all. I presume VR support is limited but it'll play most games.

Is there any way I can choose not to get the free gift?  I would much rather get the $20 off using Visa Checkout but it won't allow me to use that on bundled gifts.
