Do these come with everything to install them or are they just the bulbs,without any other parts needed for a retrofit install?Thanks

They only come with bulbs.

I believe this will cover 99.9% of the cases.  You simply open up any existing fixture and modify the power wiring to bypass the ballast and go directly to one end of the tube.

I replaced 3 fixtures in my home, 2 of them different, and there were no other parts required.  Just a modification to the internal wiring - cut the wire going to the ballast and rewire it to go directly to one end.

Once you do all this, one end of the fluorescent fixture will be live and the other dead.  You have to orient the tube correctly else it won't work.  It's fairly obvious once you get it.

Will this light be able to  replace a 17-18 inch old fluorescent bulb?

The replacement in my case required purchasing 2 new parts that were not shunted. There is a 2 second delay when turning on the light switch before the LED light turns on

No, is not Energy start or DLC certified, already look in the piece of paper instructions included, and have only warnings and installation instructions, the box have no info at all; but you safe energy for sure.

Hi; I would like to know the actual length of these bulb's?[ IE, 3' or 4'] Also , will it fit a standard florescent fixture?

These are the exact same length as a 4' fluorescent bulb and will fit in the existing sockets BUT you must follow the wiring instructions to modify the current fixture.  I love these lights in my kitchen.

What is the length of the tube?

It is exactly the same length as a regular fluorescent 40 watt tube.  The changes that have to be made to the fixture involve removing the ballast, since this runs directly off 115 volts.  It works great - very bright.

Can these tubes be linked in series or parallel for an 8 foot fixture?

This are 120 Volts, so parallel is possible, not serial.

What type of LED does this bulb have? SMD 5050? SMD 2835? How many LED's or how many per ft/meter/whatever? Thanks, DRZ

If you look closely you can see individual leds but the overall effect is continuous light as in a standard fluorescent.  I installed it in my garage with several conventional lamps.  In sub-zero weather the fixture goes on instantly while the others are having a hard time lighting up.  I wish it had a warmer color temperature.  5000K is pretty cold.  It is a very nice bright light.

What is the lenth of these bulbs ??  I am sure it can be found in the spec, but I would just like the simple answer of how long.

Is that 1611 Lumens for each bulb or for the set (i.e., 805 Lumens per bulb)?  I would expect it to be per bulb, but you never know what will come out of a company's marketing organization.

I'm not allowed to use links to other sites but looking this up from Collesun in Shenzhen (slightly different specs, e.g. 18W rather than 19W power usage) I'm fairly confident they are 1600 Lumens per bulb. I have these bought from Newegg. They are very bright which I like for my use in a kitchen.
