To those who have trouble with air in/out and power supply due to the size. 12/10/2016 5:30:43 AM

Pros: Mini size and light weight

Cons: Poor air circulation
Very limited choice in PSU.

Overall Review: I didn't buy the case from newegg, but I would like to leave a review to those who have trouble with air circulation and power supply due to the size.

If you use regular size of a power supply, it will block air going in to the CPU cooler as well as air going out of the case.

Therefore, I came up with an idea of locating the PSU on the top of the case and it worked great. Since the case is itx, I don't have to worry about the length of cables being short.

At the same time, because I located the PSU to the top of the case, now I have an empty space to pull or push the air out of the case. Therefore, I installed a cooler master heyper t2 on the motherboard. Guess what the height of the CPU cooler does not exceed the width of the case and the fan pushes the hot air out of the case through the empty space. For better air circulation, I added a 120mm fan at the rear of the case and results are awesome.

Wish I could upload a picture for better image and understanding since my English is not that good.

Update: Currently my build on the case is i5-4430, 8GB Ram, 1050ti mini, and season fanless 400W.
MSI after burner shows max temp as 42 and max GPU 36 while playing SC2 Co-op at medium setting with 1080P resolution.

Pros: Nice case especially if you do not intend to use a graphics card.

Small, light, pretty.

Cons: Small. See my recommendations below. If you follow them this case can do anything you might ever want... in a small package... provided you do not need a video card.

Even if you do need a video card, it may still work.

Overall Review: You need to get an SFX PSU with an ATX mounting bracket. Silverstone makes them. See also

This gives you a little more room for a CPU cooler. This is the CPU cooler to use:

There are different versions of this for different needs. If you don't need a DVD reader, or you want other options, even additional USB plugs.

Still very pleased 6/9/2015 10:33:10 AM

Pros: Small footprint.
Solidly built
Quality finish
Takes a standard Optical drive and PSU

Cons: Bright blue power button

Overall Review: I modded the case by removing the 3.5 drive mounts since I'm using an SSD and then fabricated a dual fan mount that will suck air from the bottom of the case and push it up past the APU and out the top of the case.

I also fabricated a plate to mount a smaller PSU (SeaSonic SS-300TFX).

Later on, I swapped out the USB 2.0 cable for a 3.0.

Lian Li is awesome 7/3/2014 1:35:04 PM

Pros: Very nice finish.
Solid aluminum.
Supports full size PSU.
Lian Li quality.

Cons: REALLY bright power button

Overall Review: This was my first mini-ITX case, and it was a breeze to work in since both sides come off. I picked it up for the computer in my son's playroom to stream movies from my WHS and play DVDs, but it looks like it could be a nice component in our living room.

It is sitting on one of those glass shelves for A/V equipment next to the TV, and it sounds like a constant stream of bass when a DVD is playing. I'm not sure whether the issue would be resolved with rubber grommets at the DVD-ROM or on the bolts holding in the shelf. Either way, I don't think this is an issue from the case - just something to note if you plan to use this as an HTPC on a wall mounted glass shelf.

Great case 5/21/2014 9:03:37 AM

Pros: Lightweight, well made, efficient design. Had no problem installing an old ATX PSU that I replaced in my desktop. Installation was a breeze. I anticipated it to be much more difficult based on reviews. No sharp edges whatsoever and plenty of hardware to complete the build. Comes with USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 adapter for front USB ports...nice since not all motherboards support that (my ASUS AM1I-A for example).

Cons: The only design flaw is SSD mounting is on the bottom, literally, of the case inside without some space. Power and SATA cables cannot connect without stressing the connectors on the drive. I just used strips of black electrical tape on the bottom of the drive to make extra room. Added bonus is some airflow under the drive. Given this, I recommend mounting platter drives to the 3.5" or optical bay using an adapter to ensure better air flow around the drive. The front USB cable is not very flexible...annoying but tolerable.

Overall Review: Keep the manuals for your motherboard and this case handy and develop a plan before starting. For mine I installed the mobo to the removed mobo panel, connected all wires except power, mounted mobo panel, removed other side panel, mounted and connected PSU, and done.

Great Little Case! 4/4/2014 7:51:33 AM

Pros: Great solid, cool looking case that has everything;
- can use full sized components like full size optical drive, full size power supply
- room for a 3.5 HDD and a 2.5 SSD
- front 3.0 usb ports
- black, aluminum construction looks and feels very 'cool'.
- good instructions with plenty of extra screws.
- looks like there is room for a low-profile aftermarket fan/heatsink (but will be right up against the PSU)

Cons: Because of small size, it is of course a VERY TIGHT SPACE to work in. You will only truly understand this if you ever had to work with a small case like this. This is my first time, so ....now I understand. Shouldn't keep you from getting one, but be warned you may drop the F-bomb now and then while trying to get everything in and connected. Plan ahead. Make sure cables are not touching fans, etc.

This is where a smaller SFX power supply with FULL modular cables and maybe even the short Silverstone ones would come in handy. Once the PSU is in, it will block pretty much everything you can get your hands on, so having the ability to unplug and pull out would be a plus. But i have a full sized PSU with regular cables in, and since i don't have plans to go into the system alot, I am fine.

The only main CON i found while putting together the build, where the thumb screws for the PSU on the back panel. For the life of me, I couldn't get them to get into the 'darn' holes to 'easily' screw in by hand, had to get out the screwdriver and press hard to make sure they were in there. They just didn't seem to want to align easily with the threads. Again, this is probably because of the larger PSU, and cables pushing against the psu, but eventually got them to stay!

The bottom has a great space for a 3.5 HDD with anti-vibration mounts and options to keep it sitting very solidly, however, it looks like i will not be able to use with a discrete video card, space wise. I am using a kaveri in the system, so wasn't planning on doing hardcore gaming on the system, so won't need this for now, but in future when I want to add one, I have to just use the bottom SSD mount with a small SSD for space. But a small card like the nvidia 750ti might fit fine.

Case was fairly quiet overall. I don't really notice it on the table top i have it on next to me. The PSU i have was a pretty basic one whose fan seemed to get louder the longer it was on. It will get hot in the little metal box, and there is not a ton of airflow, but it feels adequate enough for what you can put in there. Right now, i'm just using this as an APU only system. Again, this is where having PSU with a fan that doesn't start up until you need it too might be a plus.

Overall Review: All in all, great ITX case for what i needed for my office desktop. Very happy with purchase, especially for the 45 bucks it was on sale for.

You can see I wrote a bit more in the Con section, but these are more just warnings with dealing with small ITX cases in general, and nothing to knock off a point. Everything worked great in putting together this case.
