Question 1

How wide is the case with the rack handles/mounts removed?  I know 19" is distance from mounting hole to mounting hole and not the actual width of the case.

Mine measures 16 13/16 inches, or roughly 42.70375 cm.  I've never had the mounts off though, and it is currently racked (I can't see what you'd be dealing with once they are off).

Question 2

How many 2.5 HDD can this case hold? The list number looks incorrect to me.

It can hold 4x2.5" drives in the rack in front of the PSU, and I think you might be able to squeeze one or two more if you were to put them in the area where expansion cards fit.

However, the real dilemma you're going to have is with running power cables. I may eventually fit 4x2.5" drives in the front rack, but I have SATA power connectors that I can custom make (push-fit connectors). I would also not run more than a couple hard drives in this spot, due to a lack of airflow. SSD's might be fine if they aren't too power hungry.

Question 3

Has anyone installed an AMD Ryzen 1700 with the stock fan inside this?  I am worried about clearance. Thanks in advance!

1.5 U is about 66mm high measured from the outside od the case. The case can fit 60mm fans vertically with barely any space. AMD's cooler heatsink without the fan is already basically 60mm (accounting for the motherboard thickness) so unless you take the fan off, the stock cooler will not fit. Even if you take the fan off, it still barely has enough clearance.

Question 4

Which riser card will work with this case? I purchased the "StarTech PEX16RISER PCI Express Riser Card" and it does not fit (the card would end up in between the two PCI slots in the case). Thanks!

I ordered this case along with a 1u power supply which I was told by your tech team is the right power supply (AP-U1ATX40P8). The problem is the opening where the power supply goes is way bigger than the power supply and you can't secure the power supply. Is there a faceplate that was suppose to come with this case to mount a power supply?

No, there isn't a faceplate and the tech team is clueless. This case is designed for SFX power supplies, for example Silverstone ST30SF (you can see in the reviews section that most people opt for that one). Or you can get a more powerful one, if required.

Indeed, this is precisely the main advantage of this case - being a 1.5U not 1U - is that you DON'T have to use a 1U PSU. Most of them are noisy as heck, whereas ST30SF does not turn the fan on until the power draw reaches about 150W.

Just send the 1U PSU back and get one of the SFX power supplies and you should be fine.
