DIYPC HTPC-Cube-BK Black USB3.0 Aluminum/Steel Mini-ITX Tower Computer case, can support 120mm Radiator, Standard Size ATX PSU

Pros: It's about the smallest case you can get and still use a full size atx PSU, 3.5" hdd, and a 2-slot width graphics card. The construction is somewhere between good and great. The big fan seems like a good idea and it's pretty quiet. I like the audio jacks and USB ports right where they are. All the components I chose fit together well enough.

Cons: The airflow seems to sub-optimal, but good enough to keep things operating without worry. The documentation included in the case (evidently, I'm the kind of guy that reads that sort of thing), indicates you can fit two 2.5" hdds on the bottom of the case or one 3.5" hdd on the top. Either way they're flat against the inside surface of the case and the noise they produce resonates more than I'd like. The motherboard would almost certainly get in the way of mounting a 3.5" hdd on the bottom (which would be a far better place for the hdds), so instead it goes on the top. If you're using a 2-slot width graphics card, then there is only a thin gap (¼ inch?) between the hdd and the graphics card, but a slightly larger gap (½ inch?) between the graphics card and the PSU. It's a tight fit, but that's the idea, right? I chose the Sapphire Radeon R9 380 2-slot 170mm card. The case advertises support of graphics cards up to 230mm, but that will likely depend on the cables coming out of your PSU. I'm using a Corsair CS650M 650W which measures 5.9" x 3.39" x 5.51". Seriously, I would only recommend using a FULLY modular PSU in this case and I'm really glad my PSU isn't any bigger (not all full size atx PSUs are the same size, BTW).

Overall Review: It's minimalistic, and relatively stylish and cute. There's no reset button, but honestly, if you know how to keep your machine running smoothly, you don't really need one. Overall, a clever design. I would definitely recommend this case for some types of builds. No optical disc drive, but these days you don't really need one, and if it had one it would just make the case larger and more expensive. I got an external USB DVD drive and I'm glad I did.

Pros: The first PRO that lead me to purchase this case was the fact that I could use a normal sized power supply for my first venture into the ITX form factor. The price is certainly right. I was also able to install a Corsair H60 and a platter drive in the top with plenty of room to spare. Great design.

Cons: I just can't think of any.

Overall Review: This being my first ITX build and working with such tight spaces, I was very satisfied that at "post time" (like in the horse races...) everything booted up just perfectly. Case looks great next to my other stereo components, and even though it feels big inside, it still has a very small and polished look. unlike a normal ugly desktop box.

Pros: Great case for low power systems. Just enough room for basic system with video card and choice of SFX or ATX power supply. Great looks and smallest gaming system I have ever built. -ASRock A88x mitx mobo -AMD 7850K APU running as 12 core cpu -EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked 4gb - sub 10 inch cards fit -Silverstone sfx 600 watt psu w/atx bracket -Prolimatech SAM 17 I think, cpu cooler with 120mm -DeepCool fan and another for exhaust. -And another DeepCool fan as exhaust -2 Mushkin ssd's -2 x 4gb AMD Gamer Series 2400ghz ram sticks Really happy with how it turned out.

Cons: Difficult to work on after built. Very little room to move so plan build ahead of time. Extra costs; I recommend an SFX size psu and ATX bracket for more room. I also recommend water cooling for space savings too (my next most likely upgrade).

Overall Review: I used it stock since this past Thanksgiving until recently. I cut a hole in the center of the top panel and added a fine 140mm fan filter. I used wire cutters to remove the rear fan grille. Added freer flowing fan guard to rear exhaust fan. Air now comes in from the top, feeds the gpu fan, and out the rear just below the gpu. Today it was 80degrees Fahrenheit in my living room and I was gaming on both Steam and Origin most of the day. Played most games at Ultra settings. Pumps out the heat nicely. No overheating problems./Might still add 140mm fan on top too. Aluminum is relatively easy to cut with a hole saw too.

Pros: - Very solid (panels hardly flex at all!) - Brushed aluminium have a very premium look and feel - Very compact - All panels are removable

Cons: - Does not support 70mm fans on the side as Newegg advertises - Dust and fingerprint magnet - Limited airflow - Extremely loud case fan

Overall Review: This can be tough to build in if you don't plan ahead. It's almost mandatory to take off every single panel to build in. Don't expect to just open one panel and drop everything in. Also, if you ever need to change anything once it is built expect taking everything apart again. Other than that it's a real nice case. Gold feet are hideous, though.

Pros: Unexpectedly roomy, solid construction, individual panels for each side, flat front (no drive bays), no blue LEDs used in the front button. (Blue LEDs are EVIL!) They are red and white for HD and Power.

Cons: Can get cramped if you don't install things in the right order (put the PSU in before you install the video card), gold legs are kind of tacky, surface of case scratches easily. No thumbscrews. (Buy a pack of them when you order this.) No air filter for rear fan. (Again. Buy one.) With my motherboard, I was unable to have two drives installed at the bottom of the case while also having the USB3 connector for the case headers plugged in. The clearances between the edge of the motherboard and the bottom of the case are pretty darn slim. There is a place to install a drive above the video card, however. Having one at the top and one at the bottom doesn't play well with some PSU (the ones where all the drive connectors are on one cable like mine)

Overall Review: The case does have some flaws. But it's also probably the best compromise between size and utility that I've seen yet. I always felt the Node 304, while a really, really nice case... just didn't make use of its internal space all that well. This case also uses discrete panels for the sides, which I've always preferred over the single piece "U" shell type cases. Case is actually a lot roomier than it looks from the outside. My A8-5500k is in there with a high height Cooler Master heatpipe cooler along with a GTX 470 and an Antec 620W PSU. Plenty of room for all of it. You just have to work with it slowly to make sure you get everything seated right before you start screwing things down. The BEST advice that I can give anyone attempting a build with this computer is to install the PSU so that the fan is facing the motherboard, not the front of the case. You WILL have to wrap the cables coming out of the PSU around the end of the video card if you have a full length (10") one, but this will also deal with the problem of PSU cable slack for you by forcing it all to the top of the case. Flip the rear fan so that it is an intake and the airflow goes over the CPU and into the PSU. This will ensure proper air tunneling and exhaust for hot air... AND give you space behind the PSU for additional cable slack... which you can't do if the fan was facing the other way. Proportionately, it's about as wide and about a third taller than a typical Shuttle box while being slightly less deep. Having the DIYPC case in my hands, feeling it and working within it... I think it's now my go-to case for mITX builds. They did a lot of things right with it and SFF cases without visible drive bays are sorely lacking. Design may be a bit spartan compared to what gets sold here but that's exactly why I like it.

Pros: - Great build quality. - Power button is legit. The ring around it lights up white, and red for HDD activity. - Fits a pretty big graphics card that takes up two slots. - Probably the smallest feasible case. - Great price.

Cons: - OK, my only complaint is there is a little, stupid, tiny, tiny L shaped metal strip that runs horizontally over like 2/3 of the bottom PCI-E slot opening. Maybe it's for some structural integrity over there? Idk. But it prevented me from utilizing 3 of 4 of my video outs in the bottom PCI-E slot. The solution was to just pop out the video card and Dremel the thing off. It cut off very clean. I would suggest doing this right when you get this case, otherwise it is a little annoying to get to later. But don't let this stop you from buying the case.

Pros: The usb 3 header connector has a usb 2 header spliced off of it just in case your motherboard doesn't have a usb 3 header. Thank g()d, this saves you from having to buy a converter cable.

Cons: None as of yet.

Overall Review: It's small and cramped to work in but that is the point of the case, so yeah.

Pros: Size price simple design 2x 2.5 drive 1x 3.5 drive

Cons: Difficult to build in

Overall Review: You can fit a Coolmaster 212 Evo in it if you don't use the 2.5" drives. You should look for a smaller cooler than a 212. I needed to remove the rear plate assemble it then put it back together. For a tight build I would recommend partially disassembling the case before you build in it.
