is the led display dimmable?

yes, it is dimmable... just touch the unlock button to enable the touch screen and then tap the button on the bottom left once or twice to dim things to your liking... or if you don't want the display showing at all... the power button on the top left.

Question 2

I see no input to the mobo and I don't see a 'power on' button other than the LCD screen. Is this controller LCD face 'ON' even if the computer is off? Dose this controller start separately from the computer? How is it turned on?

It is powered by your power-supply. There is a sata-power connector on it. No, it does not start separately from the computer. It turns on when you press the power button on your computer. So, no it does not stay on even if the computer is off.

Does this Fan Controller have the ability to turn off LEDs lights in fan?

No it does not. I doubt there is a controller that can to be honest. When it comes to fans with LED's built into them, the fan itself and the LED are wired together as far as getting power, so if the fan is on the light is on. If they do make fans where the lights can be turned on independently,  you would buy that on the fan itself not a controller, unless said fan came with a specific controller made for that fan that would allow you to do so, but i have never seen one. Hope this helps.

Question 4

Does this controller have an audible beep when pressed? If so, how loud is it?

No beep, this thing is 100% soundless. Also leave it on manual unless you use the thermometers with the corresponding fan, because on auto it revs all the fans to 100%.

Question 5

I do not need to monitor temperatures.  I need to power six fans, and snaking adapters from the PSU is a pain.  Will this unit properly function without the temp probes installed?

Yes it will function without temperature probes installed, you're not required to use one or all the functions of this fan controller, each function is independent of each other. Also I hope you're not using one fan per channel because that's a waste, fans typically used between 8 - 12 Watts power, in this unit puts out 30 watts per Channel so maybe getting a 2-way pwm splitter will be a good idea, I've been using 11 fans on this fan controller for a while now.

Question 6

Are you able to control the exact amount of wattage going to each fan?

No, but there are 10 speed settings for each fan that you can manually adjust or set them to auto. Wattage is not shown on the display, but it does show rpms. Hope this helps.

Does the auto function of this model support adjusting the target temperature/Start temp/stop temp etc?

no it does not support temperature adjustments. The only thing that is adjustable is the speed - and even that isn't very responsive.

Does this intergrate with the computer so that I can see the display, and have software speeding up and slowing down the fans as needed. And I'm going to guess no Molex support?

it does't integrate with the computer and uses just the temperature sensors to slow or speed the fans up. you have to make sure that fan1 and temp1 are close to each other.
