Question 1

Can most case side panels still be removed while the case is mounted in this stand or do you have to lift the case out of the stand to remove side panels?

I lift my PC up, turn it on it's side & lay it on the stand. The stand has soft rubber caps on top of the wheel mounts. Just remove power cord first. Didn't have to unplug anything else. The side cover can then be removed. I then blow out the case for routine cleaning as I just did today. Was so happy with stand, I bought a second one.
If you want, to the stand could be adjusted wider. You could the remove the side cover without lifting out the PC

i want my computer under the desk on the floor. I have overall height restrictions. What is the height of the mounting surface of the unit?

I am using the stand on carpet. Since my power supply is on the bottom of my case I just wanted to get it up off the ground a little. Without using the wheels the stand raises the computer about 1 1/2 inches. If you wanted to use the wheels you should add a couple of inches. However, I don't know the exact number.

would my Corsair Carbide Series 500R fit on this stand?

Probably.  I have a similarly-sized case (not the same one though), and it fits well.  The cross-pattern expands to 25.5 cm, as stated in the description, and your case is 20.6 cm wide.  The cross-pattern squeezes the side to help with balancing the case.  This is a good stand for the money.

Question 4

I have a desktop computer (Dell OptiPlex 3010), which is about 14" long by 4" wide. Will this product to that narrow of width, and would it not be too long for my computers 14" depth?

Jonathan,

When I closed the adjustable arms of the unit to a 4" width it appeared that the 14" mark was right at the interior of the rubber bumpers give or take a quarter of an inch.

While I can't guarantee my measurements will match your exact dimensions, it seems like it would be an almost perfect fit for you.

How much weight does this support? Answer the question with a specific value.

Unless you have an extraordinarily heavy rig, the Syba CPU stand should work for you. I have a mid tower case with fairly heavy components and the stand has worked fine for me for 2 years. Keep in mind, you will not be able to move a loaded case across carpet with this stand. If all you care about is elevation and airflow then this stand is ideal. It is inexpensive and works well.

Question 6

How much weight will it hold?  My Silverstone Raven III was already heavy before I started filling it with heavy gaming parts.  This part looks like the best available for air flow, but that only matters if it will hold up enough weight.

Do not know how much weight it will hold.  I used this stand to keep my half tower off the ground.  I have two hard drives, two dvd drives, power supply and three video cards on it and have not had  problem with it.

Question 7

not so much for those who own but, i have not received an answer from the manufacturer regarding actual weight this product can handle (SAFELY and exact length.  I have a couple full tower servers, i want off the floor, and do not have room for a rack and such. the systems are quite heavy and i need to know the load these are capable of carrying without risk of break/bending or allowing the case to tip (front-back as well as sideways) any additional info is appreciated. Question ?  =p

These are just strong plastic that probably would not hold a heavy load. Your best bet would be to buy some of the ones that are made of metal. I have both and the metals one are a lot stronger.
