Scythe’s Kama-Panel 3 is a multi-functional device providing a variety of functions such as a 2-channel fan controller with LCD display, a card reader and an I/O panel in just one 5.25" drive bay. It also features a mobile rack for one 2.5" HDD or SSD with 9.5 mm thickness and unique functions such as Reset and Power buttons of your computer.
Fan ControllerThe Kama-Panel 3 features a 2-channel fan controller with LCD display for temperature and fan speed readouts and a temperature alert function between 40 and 90°C in steps of 1°C. When the temperature exceeds the set value or the fan RPM cannot be recognized, the temperature/ RPM displayed will flash and set an alarm. The alarm can be muted by pressing “MODE” button. Retractable fan controller knobs make the Kama-Panel 3 suitable for use in PC cases with a door panel.
2 x Power e-SATA/USB Ports and Card ReaderOn the front of the panel there are audio and mic ports and two ports for e-SATA or USB devices. The Kama Panel 3 also has direct slots for MicroSD/MicroSDHC Card, Memory Stick Micro, SD, Memory Stick, Multi Media Card and supports MiniSD/MiniSDHC, RS-MMC and MMC-micro by using adaptor (not included).
PC-ConnectionsUse the Kama-Panel 3 to power on or reset your PC. The device can establish relay connections with the PC case’s power switch and reset switch. This allows the PC case switch to be accessible while the power and reset switch of the Kama-Panel 3 is connected. Either switch can be freely used depending on situation and convenience.
2.5" drive Mobile Rack functionThe Kama-Panel 3 features a hot-swappable 2.5" drive bay. This is ideal for SSDs or any 2.5" device that is no thicker than 9.5mm.
