Does a driver disk come with this and is it windows 7 compatable ?

The packaging claims it is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8,  however the driver disc that comes with it,  does not list anything beyond XP.

I installed it on a Windows 7 Ultimate System and it seems to be working fine. 
 
I recommend installing the drivers first before connecting the  adapter.  I did it the other way around and had to reboot the system before Windows would find it and load the drivers.

windows 10 compatible?

I couldn't even get it to work on Windows 7 so I would be skeptical if it works on 10.

Question 3

What type of USB?  2.0 or 3.0

It uses a proprietary driver (on CD) and is compatible with any USB port I have tried. (Standard USB 1.1 and USB2 or 3) No problems so far with any hardware I've tried it with.
