can this cable be used for printer to computer?

Most printers I've used with USB use the USB "B" connector on the printer end and not the "micro USB" connector. Of course there could be a printer that uses the micro-B connector. Check the printer

Does it allow 2Amp while charging?

Yes. The actual wall wart or car adapter sets the output amperage. I have used this cable with a 1amp, 2.1amp and 3.1 amp charger, with no issues .

The email advertisement states Mail-in rebate. I have been seriously searching and do not see where to download the MIR. Help?

For items that have active rebates available, it will show a rebate form link beneath the add to cart button.

Does anyone know the wire specs for these cables? Looks like it should be printed on the cable jacket but isn't visible in the pictures. Probably marked something like "28AWG/1P 28AWG/2C" which would indicate a 28 gauge data pair (1P) and two 28 gauge conductors (2C) for the power lines. Those were specs I just read off a Blackberry cable I have available.

IT SAYS "2.0 revision 28 AWGX1P+28GX2C E119932-T 5U AWM2725 80°C 30V COPARTNER"
