What Sata cable do I use to connect a SSD at 6 GBS to my mother board which is 3 GBS? Are they compatible? Thanks

any cable is compatible it will just drop down the speed to what the Sata speeds are on the motherboard or if the cables are lower speed it will drop to the sata cables speed.

do sata III , Sata II , Sata I all have the same connector size ?

The connectors (cable terminations) are the same size but have different key geometry. The newer cable will connect to older, slower, devices and work OK but new, faster hardware won't connect to the older cable which can't handle the faster data-rate. I don't know if this is due to cable quality or to extra conductors in the new standard.

Question 3

Several reviews indicate that this is a 6" cable, not the 10" advertised.  The pictures certainly look like a 6" cable.  What's the deal?

I have a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527, 120GB disk, ATA-150 interface.  I would like to replace the 120GB disk with a 240GB disk drive or larger. Can you help?

This cable is not for use on a laptop. If you want a larger drive (HDD),  you'll need to buy a HDD that has an ATA interface connector.
