Is this reversible? From an hdmi port to Displayport monitor?

No, it’s not. HDMI ports have a different shape and will not fit into DisplayPorts, and DisplayPorts will not fit into HDMI ports.

I need a cable that will allow my to go from a laptop (UCB-C -> HDMI) to Monitor with DisplayPort (1.2) I bought this cable thinking it would work but it doesn't. Is there even such a cable?

Hello Michael, I have not heard a UCB-c connector. Maybe you misspelled USB-c, which is USB type C connector to DP (display port). If you search "USB c to dp" you will get quite a few options to choose from. For example, Newegg part# 9SIA7255RG8907. Hope that answer your question.
