Can I use this with HDMI convertor? My laptop does not have VGA port.

I did not use this for that purpose. If you want to take an HDMI signal from the laptop and split it (clone) to two different monitors with VGA connections, this MIGHT be your answer, again, I didn't use them this way and I don't want to mislead. If you just have one monitor, just get a single VGA cable.
