Tripp Lite High Speed HDMI Flat Cable, Ultra HD 4K x 2K, Digital Video with Audio (M/M), Black, 6-ft. (P568-006-FL)

The Tripp Lite P568-006-FL is a 6-foot flat HDMI-to-HDMI cable for connecting HDMI-enabled video sources to displays, supporting resolutions up to 4K x 2K and data transfer speeds up to 18 Gbps. It suits users connecting devices such as computers, Blu-ray players, game systems, monitors, or TVs.

Recommended For

• People connecting a nearby HDMI source—such as a Blu-ray player, DVR, or computer—to a 4K TV or monitor for everyday video and audio, with a 6-foot cable run.
• Classroom and meeting-room users who need a short HDMI connection for presentations to a projector or display.
• Digital-signage or point-of-sale installers connecting nearby HDMI equipment who want a flat cable that is easier to route in a confined setup.
• Users replacing a short HDMI cable in a 1080p or compatible 4K setup who want a direct, male-to-male connection between HDMI devices.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• Connect a Blu-ray player or set-top box to a nearby HDTV or projector; the cable carries the video and audio over one HDMI connection for movie or TV playback.
• Connect a laptop or desktop to an HDMI monitor or TV for a larger work or viewing screen; the six-foot length suits devices positioned close to the display.
• Route a connection behind a wall-mounted TV or along furniture where a bulky round cable is awkward; the flat shape can make the run easier to position, though it does not replace an in-wall-rated cable where one is required.
• Connect an older game console or other HDMI source to a TV for casual play; the display receives both picture and sound, but this cable is not intended for newer 4K-at-120Hz gaming features.
• Mirror video from an iPad 2 to an HDTV using Apple’s Digital AV Adapter, for example to show a presentation, browse, or watch video on a larger screen.
