How long is the USB cable?

The length of the cable from the front of the panel to the end of the cable's connector is 20 inches.

I do want to state though that writing to a higher speed 3.0 flash drive has never worked reliably using the Coboc, with the files often being corrupted and writing pausing.  To be fair though, I am not sure if it is the Coboc's fault, or my ASUS A88X-PRO motherboard (1.5 years old).  If I plug the same 3.0 flash drives in to the 3.0 USB connectors that are directly on the rearside of the motherboard, the high speed write works without a problem.  So I am not sure if the problem with the Coboc 3.0 USB connection is because of Coboc, or the ASUS motherboard header connection (the Coboc is a passive device though, so I suspect my ASUS's MB has the problem).

Question 2

Is this compatible with Intel Chipset Motherboards? X10 specifically

It works fine with my ASUS A88X-PRO MB, but that is an AMD chipset.  HOWEVER, it is a standard USB 3.0 header connection on my MB which I believe is generic.  USB does not care if it is Intel or AMD.  Using the Coboc was the only way I could have USB 3.0 on the front of my workstation.  The MB has USB 3.0 on the back, but that was a pain getting to.

Question 3

I bought this and installed on my internal 3.0 port on my MB.  When I plug in a usb device I hear a noise indicating the computer knows a device is plugged in, but never shows up in My Computer.  When I try same device in existing USB ports everything operates as normal.  I tried updating drivers in Device Manager and Uninstalling USB controllers and restarting computer.  Ideas?

I'm running Windows 10.

Check your BIOS/UEFI setup to be sure extra USB ports are enabled properly.
