Ad shows is only SATA II BUT says can go 6 gbps (which is impossible) sata 3 is 6gbps, sata 2 is only 3gbps and sata one is only 1.5 gbps, which is it is this sata 3 (at 3gbps) or is this sata 2 (only upto 3gbps)???

SATA II and SATA III cables are electrically identical. A cable designed for SATA II will run at SATA III speeds assuming the devices you are connecting are both SATA III. The signal cables in both types are shielded.
