I am looking for a 20 pin connector with leads that will mate with a 20 pin "socket" that actually has the 20 pins in it. I would tend to call it "male", so I need the "female" fitting to slip onto the existing pins inside my "socket." In your image, it looks like the white plastic end is what I need -- correct?

I have a question to clarify.

If you have a motherboard with a small black connector on the board and a large white 20 or 24 for connector from the power supply. That's what I used it for to test a  itx board with a nml atx power supply of 500 watts. The replacement powersupply had a atx 20/24 connector so I just used the just the 20 pin connector and niot the +4 one.

If you have a small power supply with a small connector (black) you are trying to connect to a nml atx motherboard you need the reverse connector with a bigger connector on the motherboard.
