Is this cable compatible with CX600M?
I really dont wanna mess up my psu.

Yes it will work fine as long as you dont overload the power supply. That would depend on what your powering. Im guessing its for a GPU. With one GPU you should be fine, however if your trying to power multiple GPUs you would have to look at what their power requirements are. As for the quality of the cable itself, ive been running over 30 GPUs for months with these splitters and they work great. Good luck.

It was long enough to reach from my power supply to my card. i would not recommend this card though. when i got it, i had to cut off the little thing that clips it in, because it would not go in my power supply, it was too big for it. it works, but there are better cables, don't buy this one.

Question 3

Will this work with the SeaSonic X 850W (SS-850KM3) and NVIDIA GTX 780 Ti?  Also, any idea about how rigid this cable is?  The PCI-E power cable that comes with the PSU is very rigid and therefore difficult to route so I'm thinking about replacing it.

First off, why don't you use the cables from the PSU? It has 4x6+2-pin PCIe connectors.  How many other cards do you have? If you have other cards, does the PSU have enough power to drive the 780 Ti?

It will work in the sense that the cable will plug in to the card and the PSU, as long as you have a spare 6-pin connector on the SeaSonic, and the video card will work under light loads.

My only concern would be running that much power through one 6-pin connector from the PSU.  It *should* be alright, but you need to know that it could and probably will draw way more power than the cables/connector are rated for.

A 6-pin cable is rated for 75W and that card is spec'd at 250W TDP.  The motherboard can supply up to 75W. So even if the board is supplying a full 75W (which it won't), you are coming up 100W short (250 - (75+75)).  The cable can put out more power than it's rated for, but that's 133% over spec. The PSU cable will probably get very hot if you are pushing the card hard consistently, like gaming or mining.

My AMD 270's pull about 150W through a single 6-pin connector with 18AWG wires on my mining rig. The cables get pretty warm, but not too hot to touch.  You might be pulling 2 to 5+ more amps than that even, so it will get even hotter at max load. Hot enough to melt the plastic and short out or start a fire? Probably not...?...? But I'd be hesitant to try it and find out.

If the SeaSonic cable is stiff, maybe it's 16 AWG, which should be able handle the increased power.  I don't see the gauge listed anywhere in the PSU features/specs.  It should be printed on the wires themselves.

The cables on the splitter are pretty flexible. They're pretty good quality for the price.

Question 4

i have a psu and the only PCIE cables that i can find for it are a 6+2 and a 6pin pigtail. will this get enough power through the 6pin, without the +2?
