Does this box keep the original aspect ratio of the input signal or will it stretch the image to a 16:9 aspect ratio?
for example, if my old sega system puts out an s-video signal which has a 4:3 aspect ratio, will this unit stretch the signal and output a 16:9 image?

I use this for retro gaming myself and have found that it stays 4:3 unless you stretch it with your TV settings. Call me crazy, but the 4:3 almost looks a bit squeezed? That could just me me though, it's hard to tell. Either way, I actually like mine slightly stretched, because it gets rid of that squeezed look and appears more normal (not to mention it's larger).
