Will it pass through Dolby Digital Plus (as on new Amazon Fire TV)?

Also, in my testing, when I played media that had Enhanced AC3 (Dolby Digital Plus encoding) it played it back in Pro Logic II. But this is a limitation of my audio equipment not supporting the feature.

Question 2

I want to switch analog audio 2 or 3 inputs to one output. I need mini audio type sockets on the box, where I could choose among say the audio output from my computer, or from my portable phone into a device which transmits directly to my hearing prostheses.

I'm talking about those little, stereo plugs – like on a guitar, only little (with two channels, – stereo). I'm sure there is such a thing, having a remote, I suppose would be handy. Do you have one? If you can find something, let me know. Thank you.

I'm not sure the switch you're looking for is manufactured. I have seen plans and instructions to build them yourself floating around the net, if you fancy yourself handy with a soldering iron. Otherwise . . .
 If it were only 2 audio sources, I'd suggest a simple 3.5 mm audio splitter. Probably can find one for only a few bucks.
  In the case of more than 2 audio sources, I would probably opt for an inexpensive receiver. Like what someone might use in a  bigger stereo setup or home theater setup. You can probably find an acceptable receiver for a reasonable price. Either one that includes a few 3.5 mm stereo inputs/outputs, or just get a few 3.5 mm to stereo RCA (red & white) plugs/cables. As a bonus, if you use a receiver, you should get a remote!
