The Panduit NK688MGR is a green Cat.6 RJ-45 connector adapter for structured cabling, suited to installers who need a Cat.6 jack for a compatible keystone-style outlet.

    Recommended For

    • Structured-cabling installers terminating Cat 6 unshielded twisted-pair cable into a keystone wall plate or patch panel; this is a punchdown jack, not a plug-on cable end.
    • Office or facility network technicians adding wired Ethernet or VoIP outlets to a structured cabling system; Panduit lists Gigabit Ethernet and VoIP among the jack’s applications.
    • Installers or facilities teams that use green jacks to visually identify a particular network drop or service; the green housing supports color-based organization.
    • Technicians maintaining or reworking compatible NetKey Cat 6 terminations; Panduit’s installation instructions say the jack modules may be re-terminated at least 20 times.
