Question 1

Trying to find out more information about this Riser Card, does it run at the same speed as PCI-E X16 3x (normal Video card slot) its doesn't slow anything down correct? is it shielded? what is the QA with the purchase of this riser?   ive seen many bad reviews about other riser cards burning out and not being of very good quality.

I am waiting to get my new cable back. I had to RMA the first one I got because it was causing a lot of problems with the cards connectivity and audio. It looks great and is meant for the genome case. Its long because it goes under a slot in the case and screws in to help hold the card in place for the side view. I really hope my new one works correctly. As of right now I would give it a 1 egg. But I will see when I get my new one if it works like it supposed to. But yes its shielded and is supposed to run the same speed. I have a Nvidia 780ti I tried with it. By the time I get my new one I will have my 1080 gtx in its place.

Question 2

My question is....I purchased a Geforce 9500GT graphics card several years ago and it took up so much room in my HP media center case that I had to remove some other cards that I really wouldn,t use.  Now I want to put a different card in the case.  Will this cable allow me to mount the graphics card outside the case to make room inside or what is going to work???   Thanks in advance for any help.

Doubt it. Using it in the Mid-Tower case I have it reached perfectly to vertical mount an inch away from the side panel with maybe a couple inches of slack. Would look into a bigger case personally.
